Tecsound S100 Acoustic Membrane
Tecsound S100 Acoustic Membrane
Tecsound S100 acoustic membrane is a 5.5mm thick, 10kg per m², high density visco-elastic, polymer-based, synthetic soundproofing layer, that offers good acoustic insulation in different building elements.
It is equipped with a self-adhesive layer, to allow its direct application on the majority of building surfaces.
Tecsound S100 soundproofing membrane has outstanding sound insulating properties. Most construction products do not provide damping. Plasterboard and plywood materials absorb little sound energy because of their rigidity. Tecsound acoustic membrane with it’s mass, density and visco-elastic properties provides superior acoustic performance to basic gypsum plasterboard wall and ceiling constructions.
Tecsound S100 Acoustic Membrane provides the best of both worlds, high additional mass and high damping. Tecsound is also available in a 7kg per m² version – Tecsound SY70.
